Firstly this unique hut stands alone in the middle of the sea, three-quarters of a mile from pure bliss. Trust me, it’s an experience like no other.
As we made our way to the bar, I couldn’t help but be drawn to the chilled reggae music filling the air. Moreover, with a cold Red Stripe beer in hand or the drink of your choice, we soaked up the laid-back atmosphere while watching the fishermen catch and cook fresh fish for lunch. Finally, remember to carve your names on the walls, ensuring a promise of return for your next visit.
The Pelican Bar isn’t just about drinks and good music, however. Nevertheless, you can snorkel, explore the vibrant marine life beneath the surface, or bask in the awe-inspiring 360-degree panoramic views. As the boat set off in the darkness of the night, we could feel the anticipation building. The boat’s lights were turned off, and suddenly, it stopped. That’s when the exhilarating moment arrived—the invitation to plunge into the luminescent waters. With around 40 people on the boat, only 20 of us took the leap. I’ll admit I hesitated, but witnessing the kids’ fearless jumps inspired us to follow suit.
Once we submerged ourselves, we were immediately mesmerized by the awe-inspiring spectacle. The water glowed and shimmered around us, creating an otherworldly experience. It was a rush of adrenaline, an unforgettable moment of doing something for the first time, regardless of age.
